Rising intensity of the tides
Heavy waves touch the skyscrapers and the clouds
Is this a high or just anxiety
Because both feel the same
When the blood falls through your veins
And the clouds suddenly dissipate
There’s no control now, no ledge to latch upon
And the waves fall down, back to the
oceanic chaos
Hitting the surface with such intensity
That the winds crackle
That the thunder above be doomed
Such simple loudness
And yet it goes unheard by everyone
But the ocean and its chaos
Maybe it’s just anxiety,
With the way the waves fall and the way the tides rise
The waves meet the skyscrapers
And the ocean just meets more chaos.
